The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology deals with disorders and diseases of the esophagus, the gastrointestinal tract, the liver and the bile ducts, as well as the pancreas. Furthermore, internal intensive care medicine, with special emphasis on gastroenterological and hepatological diseases, as well as various aspects of nutrition, metabolism and psychosomatics are the focus of interest of our Division.
