The Division of Nephrology and Dialysis is the largest university Division for Nephrology in Austria. Our primary goal is the optimal treatment of patients with kidney diseases, based on the most modern aspects of medicine.
The research carried out at the Division of Nephrology and Dialysis aims to continuously improve diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for kidney diseases, renal replacement therapies and kidney transplantation in order to make new findings available to all patients as quickly as possible.
The main focus of our clinical work is on the inpatient and outpatient treatment of patients with kidney diseases. The consultation service of the Division of Nephrology and Dialysis is staffed 24 hours a day.
